What is Gas Safe?
Gas Safe is the official gas registration body for the UK and is appointed by the Health and Safety Executive. It acts as a licensing body for anyone working with gas, and companies registered and verified with it are licensed to work on gas appliances such as heating. It replaced the former CORGI system in 2010.
The idea behind Gas Safe is that a company is verified as competent and qualified to work with gas. Gas work always presents challenges and there is the potential for a lot of damage if things go wrong. So you should only ever allow a Gas Safe registered engineer to work on any gas fittings in your business.
Qualified, quality work
As well as being registered with Gas Safe, we are registered as an OFTEC heating technician. This is a competent person scheme, so you can be further reassured about the quality of the work we do on oil heating. We install new gas heating systems as well as working on existing ones, so if you need regular maintenance we can schedule it at a time that works for you.
If you think there is even the slightest problem with your gas equipment, call us immediately on 01902 605 625, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
